THEATER-SPECIFIC STUDIES

From 1999 through early 2001 OSG was actively researching issues related to cold weather mountain warfare and stability operations with a focus on the Balkans and Kosovo, but immediately following the tragic events of 9-11 this focus shifted first to Afghanistan and then concurrently to Iraq.
